Integrative Sports Medicine Treatment Services

Injections with Noltrex

Noltrex is a synthetic 4% polyacrylamide hydrogel used to provide joint lubrication. It targets the compromised joints by reducing the friction to help the cartilage function properly. It restores and maintains healthy joint function, and over time it removes itself from the joint without leaving any residue behind. It is considered a long lasting injection treatment, which makes it a great long-term therapy option for our sports medicine patients.

Injections with Spryng

Spryng is a intra-articular injection that is designed to prevent the re-occurrence or occurrence of joint pain due to loss of cartilage or tissue. It does this by augmenting and enforcing the cartilage to help the joint function normalize. This injection is created with collagen and elastin, which are two naturally-derived  proteins and one carbohydrate. Once these composites are combined they create a pliable and insoluble matrix, which form into a sponge-like, lubricious micro-cushion that fills the synovial space precisely. A single dose of Spryng gives patients an immediate joint protection and protects it from future injury. It is also considered a long duration joint injection.

Injections with Arthramid

Arthramid is a 2.5% injectable polyacrylamide hydrogel created to treat joint lameness and osteoarthritis in our patients by integrating into the synovial membrane. It does this by stabilizing the joint capsule and increasing elasticity. This then reduces the onset of synovitis and the harmful effects that go with that. By improving the synovium function it in turn improves the joint’s synovial fluid, which restores the joint to a healthy function. This injection begins working within two to three weeks, and it stays in the joint for 6 to 8 months. It has the ability to deliver long-term benefits to our patients. The key benefits with Arthramid are greater joint fluid quality, bio-mechanical support, and restoring strength and elasticity.
